CUISINE
A delicious country breakfast is served each morning in front
of the fireplaces in our restaurant dining room or on the terrace
over-looking the fountain in our garden courtyard. In summer
and fall our organic orchard and kitchen garden provide much
of the herbs, fruits and vegetables for the restaurant. Farm
fresh eggs come from Al Mazzetti's vineyard ranch just down
the road while our organic coffee and teas come from Taylor
Maid Farms in Sebastopol.

SPECIAL
FEATURES
• The Applewood Restaurant
is open Tuesday-Sunday night starting at 6:00pm. We enjoy an
award winning reputation for cuisine ... and for our exquisite
wines. Our climate controlled wine cellar located under the
restaurant holds bottles of wine from all of Sonoma County's
renowned wine appellations as well as a few of those being produced
by our family & friends in Napa and even further afield,
but our focus has always been on the incredible wines being
produced right here in our own Russian River Valley. Our cellar
collection has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
It has also won double gold metals at the Sonoma County Harvest
Fair as well as Best of Show in 2001.
• Applewood Inn gives you
many ways to indulge from reading by the fire with a glass of
wine, soaking up rays at the pool, easing tired muscles in a
whirlpool tub or taking advantage of our many massage therapies.
Explore our massage menu for a list of our wonderful treatments.

Applewood is blessed to have as neighbors the 120+ wineries
that comprise the Russian River Wine Road, winding from the
Pacific Ocean and the redwoods of the Russian River Valley to
the benchlands of Dry Creek Valley and the rolling hills of
the Alexander Valley. An area full of history, grapes have been
grown and wine has been made in northwest Sonoma County for
over 130 years. Venture just a bit further down the road and
visit neighboring Napa Valley or turn North to discover the
wines of Mendocino's Anderson Valley but be sure to make it
back in time for dinner at the inn, a splendid end to a perfect
day in the Wine Country.
